Poddsprint bolsters lamination with Foliant
Warlingham-based Poddsprint has invested in a new Foliant Mercury 530NG binder to allow it to turn around lamination work around faster.

The Foliant Mercury 530NG processes digitally and litho printed B2+ sheets
Purchased from Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS), the Foliant Mercury 530NG is a heavy-duty industrial laminating system for processing both digitally and litho printed B2+ sheets.
The machine incorporates a Heidelberg suction feeder and a high-speed bump separator as standard, while optional extras include double-sided lamination, embossed laminating roller and pallet stacker.
“We looked at the machine five years ago and decided to go for an alternative, but we have had some issues and regretted the decision ever since,” Poddsprint director Matthew Podd says, adding: “We decided enough was enough and revisited the Foliant option.
“We liked the Foliant because of its build quality, speed and ease of use. It is enabling us to complete the jobs we have better and faster.
“This is the second machine we have bought from IFS. They are really good to deal with and very helpful. I highly recommend them.”
